Die Kermes-Eiche (n. Quercus coccifera) ist ein typischer Strauch oder Baum in der südlichen Region von Portugal. Mit gewundenen Stamm und oft nutzlos, kaum erreicht es eine signifikante Größe. Trockener Boden allgemein, passt sich gut an felsiges Gelände an und hat starke Wurzeln. Seine Früchte sind ovale Eicheln mit einer starren Spitze und eine Kuppel auch mit Spitzen. Es gehört zur Familie der Fagaceae, seine Blüte tritt im Frühjahr und Fruchtbildung von drei Jahren, der August im folgenden Jahr bis zur Blüte. Es ist besonders angenehm für das mediterrane Klima.

 The Kermes Oak (n.  Quercus coccifera ) is a tipical bush or tree in the south region of Portugal. With tortuous trunk and oftenly useless, hardly it reaches a significant size. Dry soil common, it adapts well to rocky terrain and has strong roots. Its fruits are oval acorns with a rigid tip and a dome also with tips. It belongs to the family of Fagaceae, its flowering occurs in the Spring and fruiting from three years, the August in the following year to the flowering. It is especially pleasing to the Mediterranean climate.

Portugal is fully rich with wonderfull festivals Today is a special date to portuguese people, as it is full of enjoyment. A propitious day to remind all festivals, because it is Pentecost day, and the festivities are everywhere. Some important festivals: In Sintra there are the festivals of Divino Espírito Santo do Penedo In Ponte de Lima it happens the Feiras Novas In Viana do Castelo in August occur the Romaria de Nossa Senhora d'Agonia festival In Lisboa it happens the Santo Antonio festival In the city of Lamego occur the festivals of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios In Viseu there is the São Mateus fair In a lot of cities it happens the festival of São João It can't be counted all the festivals, pilgrimages, processions and fairs that happen in Portugal!

Portugal é riquíssima em festas maravilhosas Hoje é uma data especial para os portugueses, pois é um dia cheio de festa. Dia oportuno para nos recordarmos das datas de nossas festas, pois é o dia de Pentecostes , suas festas estão presentes a toda parte. Algumas festas importantes: Em Sintra acontecem as festas do Divino Espírito Santo do Penedo Em Ponte de Lima são realizadas as Feiras Novas Em Viana do Castelo é realizada em Agosto a Romaria de Nossa Senhora d'Agonia Em Lisboa acontece a Festa de Santo Antonio Na cidade de Lamego acontecem as festas de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios Em Viseu acontece a Feira de São Mateus Em diversas cidades são realizadas festas de São João Não se podem numerar as diversas festas, romarias, procissões e feiras que acontecem em Portugal!

 A Carrasqueira (n.  Quercus coccifera ) é uma planta típica do sul de Portugal. De tronco tortuoso e de pouco aproveitamento, dificilmente atinge um tamanho grande. De solo seco, se adapta bem a terrenos pedregosos e possui raízes fortes. Seus frutos são bolotas ovaladas com uma ponta rígida e uma cúpula também com pontas. Pertence a família das Fagáceas, sua floração ocorre na primavera e frutifica a partir de três anos, no agosto do ano seguinte à florada. Se agrada principalmente do clima mediterrâneo.
